Together We Build!
Disability Pride NYC Parade celebrates our history, identities, creativity, leadership, and collective power to create change.
As we approach the 50th anniversary of the historic 1977 Section 504 sit-ins, we honor the disabled activists whose courage and leadership, together with the solidarity of other civil rights and community groups, helped make history and transform disability rights in America.
That same spirit of solidarity inspires us today as we build a New York City where disabled people have the access, opportunity, and power to participate, lead, create, and shape the city we all share.
Participate your way. Our community. Our pride. Our power.
